Ted Lasso Season 4 Set for Summer 2026 — Ted Returns to Coach a Women's Team
Apple TV confirmed on Jan. 28 that Ted Lasso Season 4 will arrive in the summer of 2026, with the fourth season having first been announced in March 2025. Several core cast members are already confirmed to return, including Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, and Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins.
New cast additions include Grant Feely as Ted’s son Henry (replacing Gus Turner in the role), plus Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Abbie Hern, Aisling Sharkey, Rex Hayes, and Faye Marsey — many of whom are expected to portray players or staff. Apple TV’s official logline says Ted returns to Richmond “taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team,” continuing the show’s mix of comedy and emotional storytelling that has explored topics like mental health, masculinity and sexuality in sports.
Promotional images released Jan. 28 show Tanya Reynolds standing beside Ted and Coach Beard on the pitch sidelines, while Roy Kent is notably absent from one picture; the series’ promotional material and Season 3’s finale had already teased the idea of an A.F.C. women’s team via Keeley’s PR firm.
