Tell Me Lies season 3 adds Iris Apatow, Costa D’Angelo and other new cast
People reports Tell Me Lies season 3 premiered on Hulu on Jan. 13 and introduces new recurring characters played by Iris Apatow and Costa D’Angelo.
The Hulu drama stars Grace Van Patten as Lucy Albright and Jackson White as Stephen DeMarco, whose volatile relationship unfolds across dual timelines from 2007 to 2015; the series is based on Carola Lovering's 2018 novel. Season 3 adds Iris Apatow as Amanda, Costa D'Angelo as Alex, Emily Meade as Mary and Michelle Nolden as Dean. Deadline described Amanda as a "bubbly but fragile college freshman keeping a big secret," and, per Deadline, called Alex a "psychology grad student and part-time drug dealer who has a complicated past with Bree (Catherine Missal)." D'Angelo posted a screenshot of his casting announcement with the caption "trouble @tellmelieshulu."
Meade is listed on IMDb as appearing in at least four episodes, though an official description for Mary has not been released; Meade captioned the show's season 3 trailer, "Got myself involved in a little season 3 drama..." Nolden is set to appear in at least one episode and is noted for roles in The Time Traveler's Wife, Heartland and Saving Hope. Beyond these casting details and brief character descriptions, further plot specifics for season 3 remain limited.
