Ten European retreats for creativity, nature and restorative breaks
A travel roundup lists ten retreats across Europe offering creative, nature and restorative programmes, from a family-friendly farm break in Montenegro to rewilding sites, horse-based therapy and intensive inner-work courses. Highlights include the Art and Play holiday on a farm outside the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, a family-friendly retreat with creative sessions, farm tasks, hikes and kayaking; seven days from £695, children 5–12 £350, under-fives free (dates 3 May and 23 August).
On Aegina in Greece a seven-night Exploring Ceramics retreat is led by artist Marina Coriolano-Lykourezos, limited to six participants and priced at €1,800 solo or €2,750 for a couple; retreats run year-round. Embercombe, a 20-hectare rewilding and education site on the edge of Dartmoor, offers the six-day Journey retreat of guided reflection and nature connection, with shared or private yurt accommodation; the next Journey is 8–13 March at £1,395 (bursary places available).
The Yellow House in Andalucía provides three-night restorative escapes with yoga, meditation, mindful walks and sound healing; three-night retreats are €1,475 including accommodation, meals and activities, from 30 April and 2 July.
