Terraria 1.4.5 set to launch on January 27, 2026
Gamesradar reports that Terraria update 1.4.5 will roll out on January 27, 2026, marking the first major patch in more than three years.
Re-Logic's Ted "Loki" Murphy said, "As we mentioned in last month's State of the Game, things were looking up for a January 2026 release," and added, "We did have to resubmit a few things, which pushed us back a bit further than expected." The update was first announced in late 2022 and was originally planned for 2023.
The patch is set to add features such as an RC car, Dead Cells and Palworld crossover content, new whips, slime variants and more. The studio noted it still has "a few more things to get done between now and then (a couple of approvals still pending as well)" and has told fans to "start the countdown."
