Teyana Taylor wears transparent Schiaparelli lace and pearl crown at Paris couture show
Pagesix reports Teyana Taylor appeared in the front row at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show at the Petit Palais in Paris on Monday, arriving after her SNL hosting debut.
She wore a completely transparent, unlined black Chantilly lace top and matching pencil skirt with a black tuxedo coat draped over her shoulders, paired with black platform pumps. A silver chandelier brooch with a rhinestone knot was pinned at her neckline, and she topped the look with an antique silver crown encrusted with rhinestones and pearls. Other attendees such as Demi Moore, Lauren Sánchez and Jodie Turner-Smith were described as wearing suiting separates and gowns.
Taylor has turned to Schiaparelli for previous red-carpet moments, including a sculptural black halter gown with a diamanté thong at the Golden Globes—where the 35-year-old quipped on the step-and-repeat, "The crack is covered in diamonds. It’s expensive!"—a gold metallic mesh gown at the Paris premiere of "All’s Fair," a surrealist leather Schiaparelli coat at a Desert Diamonds event, and a denim set at the Disney Upfront featuring the house’s gold bijoux buttons. The article noted that with awards season just kicking off, more Schiaparelli looks from Taylor are likely in the months ahead.
