The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5: What We Know
Netflix has confirmed The Lincoln Lawyer has been renewed for a fifth season, announcing the renewal ahead of Season 4’s launch and noting that Mickey Haller “will climb into the backseat of his Lincoln Navigator for the fifth season.” Co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez called Season 4 the most challenging and intensely personal journey for Mickey and said they are grateful to continue the story.
The season will consist of 10 episodes, and Netflix appears to have abandoned the split-season release used in Season 2, so all episodes are expected to be available at once. Production is reportedly set to begin in March 2026, and with the show’s release pattern to date it is likely Season 5 will not arrive until 2027, possibly in spring or summer.
Plot details remain tentative, but Season 5 is said to be based on Michael Connelly’s Resurrection Walk, which in the novels pairs Mickey with his half-brother Harry Bosch to fight for a wrongfully convicted woman in a David-versus-Goliath courtroom battle.
