The Night Agent Season 2 recap: What to remember before Season 3 — Collider

Season 2 pushed Peter Sutherland out of Washington and into the field, beginning in Thailand where his partner and trainer, Alice, is killed. Back in New York he traces the violence to Foxglove, an operation tied to chemical weapons, while his new Night Action boss, Catherine, resents his fast-tracked promotion and distrust complicates the investigation.

Rose returns to Peter’s orbit but is soon kidnapped by Markus Dargan, forcing Peter into contact with intelligence broker Jacob Monroe, who was involved in Alice’s death. To save her he breaks into the United Nations to steal a classified file, rescues Rose, and helps foil coordinated attacks at the UN and a hotel.

The immediate threat is averted, but the stolen file exposes a presidential candidate’s ties to Foxglove, collapsing Patrick Knox’s campaign and clearing the way for Governor Richard Hagen, who has a long-standing relationship with Monroe.
