The Testaments cast and characters — who's who in the Handmaid's Tale spin-off

Less than a year after The Handmaid's Tale wrapped its six-season run, Hulu is bringing the first franchise sequel, The Testaments, in April 2026. Set five years after the events of the original series, the dystopian coming-of-age tale follows a new generation of women in Gilead as they learn to navigate the totalitarian regime.

The series is adapted from Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name by creator Bruce Miller. Chase Infiniti headlines as Agnes Mackenzie, a young woman who uncovers her fate in Gilead and leads a revolt to undo the society’s stifling structures. Lucy Halliday co-leads as Daisy, a Canadian teenager whose family ties to Gilead's dark past push her into alliances with other girls determined to fight for freedom.

Rowan Blanchard plays Shunammite, a privileged teen whose status provokes both fear and resentment among the other girls, while Mattea Conforti is Becka, a girl from humble origins who begins to question the life she’s being groomed for.
