Time reports Peacock's The Traitors Season 4 introduced a concealed "Secret Traitor" role and that the hidden player was exposed early when Donna Kelce was banished in Episode 3.

The season gathers a mixed cast of pseudo-celebrities — including Real Housewives Dorinda Medley and Porsha Williams, Survivor's Natalie Anderson, Big Brother's Tiffany Mitchell, and skaters Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski — competing for a grand prize of up to $250,000. The Secret Traitor twist, unveiled in the opening minutes of the premiere, worked independently from the three announced Traitors (Lisa Rinna, Candiace Dillard Bassett and Rob Rausch) and supplied a shortlist of victims the Traitors could choose from. Peacock released the first three episodes at once on Thursday, after which suspicions flared, a near-instant feud arose between Yamil "Yam Yam" Arocho and Michael Rapaport, and Porsha Williams became the first Faithful voted out.

Kelce had been called out at the first round table for appearing quiet and defended herself as "fangirling" over being there, yet she was voted out and revealed as the Secret Traitor, surprising her fellow Traitors. The banishment may have ended an ongoing mystery for viewers but, as the report notes, it also appeared to raise the stakes for the remaining players as the season progresses.
