Tiny Bridgerton reference appears in The Sims Royalty & Legacy

The Sims 4 expansion Royalty & Legacy launches next week and centers on family legacy, secrets and scandals. Its mechanics have been compared to the role of gossip columnist Lady Whistledown from Bridgerton, with players uncovering and spreading secrets about the nobility.

The new life aspiration, Social Puppeteer, tasks sims with discovering secrets, extorting sims, and igniting scandals; secrets are tracked in a notebook with severity and a limited useful lifespan. The aspiration ties into a storyline around a Robin Hood–like Royal Robber and includes a reward trait that makes a sim immune to extortion.
