In Game Informer's oral history of Fallout, Howard says the studio "never stopped developing Fallout" and has had a full team on it for a long time. He adds the majority of the internal team is on Elder Scrolls 6, and that Bethesda is working on other Fallout projects it hasn't announced, noting "there'll come a time for that."
Howard acknowledges fans' appetite — "What else? Feed me!" — and admits "we do like to wait." He says "we're working on stuff" and that the studio wants to make announcements into "special moments for our fans."
