Tom Ellis' CIA Spin-Off Tracks a Smuggler in Episode 2 Images

After a bumpy road with multiple showrunner changes and a major casting departure, CBS is opening a new branch of its FBI franchise. CIA premieres on February 23, introducing Tom Ellis as loose-cannon CIA case officer Colin Glass and Nick Gehlfuss as veteran FBI agent Bill Goodman.

Three new images from Episode 2, "Fatal Defect," show Colin, Bill, and their colleagues at work. One still centers on the duo hauling a target in the woods, another finds Bill positioned behind a car with his gun drawn, and a third shows Deputy Chief of Station Nikki Reynard, played by Necar Zadegan, glancing around while on her phone.

The episode's logline reads: "When a known smuggler is flagged at the New York border with unknown cargo, Colin and Bill head upstate to track.
