Tottenham weigh up sacking Thomas Frank after West Ham defeat
Goal says Tottenham are 'weighing up' sacking Thomas Frank after a shock defeat to West Ham that saw fans chant for the Dane's dismissal.
After the match Frank told reporters he understood the frustration, saying: "It's not a nice feeling, but I understand frustration. We are losing to a big London rival. There is nothing worse. We couldn't win at home, which we work very hard to try to do. Hopefully they [the fans] can see the effort from the boys. They are working very hard. We did everything in the second half." He accepted responsibility — "So the blame will go to me. That's fair, no problem in that sense" — and urged supporters to back the players.
The material does not confirm any club decision. Frank said he was "feeling the backing from everyone" and insisted results will change, adding "I'm not in doubt of that." He also referenced recent matches against Bournemouth and Villa when assessing performances and said "we are doing a lot of things right behind the scenes, but we are not getting the results which is crucial."
