Toy Story 5 tops Collider’s list of 10 most anticipated family movies of 2026

Collider published a roundup on Jan. 27, 2026, ranking the 10 most anticipated family movies of 2026, led by Pixar’s Toy Story 5, which is scheduled to open June 19. Toy Story 5, directed by Andrew Stanton, will focus on Bonnie receiving a LilyPad tablet and a clash of screen time versus playtime.

Stanton told fans, “Nobody's being robbed of their trilogy,” and many returning cast members will reprise roles, including Tim Allen (Woody), Tom Hanks (Buzz Lightyear), Tony Hale (Forky) and Joan Cusack (Jessie); Greta Lee joins as the voice of LilyPad. Other big franchise entries include Jumanji 3 (Dec.

11), billed as the final installment in the modern reboot with most of the cast expected to return — Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Kevin Hart — and a teaser that nods back to the original film; Johnson also recently honored Robin Williams with a dice worn around his neck.

The Sheep Detectives (May 8) stars Hugh Jackman and a stacked ensemble, while The Super Mario Galaxy Movie launches April 1 with returning leads Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy and Jack Black, plus Bowser Jr. voiced by Benny Safdie and an as-yet-unannounced voice actor for Yoshi.
