Nbc reports that The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins premieres Sunday, January 18 at 10/9c and is available the next day on Peacock.

The comedy centers on Reggie Dinkins, a canceled former football player banned for life from the NFL for betting on his own New York Jets games, who hires Oscar-winning filmmaker and film professor Arthur Tobin to direct a documentary meant to restore his image. Tracy Morgan stars as Reggie and serves as an executive producer; Daniel Radcliffe plays Arthur. The series was created by Robert Carlock and Tina Fey with writer Sam Means, and Carlock said Arthur has a "mysterious past" filled with mistakes he has tried to keep quiet.

Regulars include Erika Alexander as Monica Reese-Dinkins (Reggie's ex-wife, agent and mother of his son), Bobby Moynihan as Rusty, Precious Way as fiancée Brina and Jalyn Hall as son Carmelo. Guest players announced for season one include Ronny Chieng (three episodes) as agent Barry Hu; Craig Robinson as nemesis Jerry Basmati; Heidi Gardner (two episodes) as Tisha Basmati; Anna Camp as Arthur's ex Narcissa Ocean; and Corbin Bernsen as Reggie's former coach, who travels with an emotional support cat named Namath. The series follows how allowing cameras into Reggie's life may not go as planned and could upend both his and Arthur's lives.
