Vigilantes trailer teases Aizawa school days flashback

A new trailer for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes previews the “Aizawa School Days Arc,” with Episode 6 set to explore Shota Aizawa’s past at U.A. High School and reportedly airing on Feb. 9. The arc introduces Oboro Shirakumo and his friendship with Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada (Present Mic), showing their plans to open a hero school and form Team Purple Revolution.

In the Vigilantes material, Shirakumo is killed during a mission, an event that helps explain Aizawa’s later cynicism and approach as a mentor. In the manga the arc spans chapters 59–65, while the anime appears to reorder material and may condense the story into a single episode.

The flashback also highlights quieter moments between the trio, including a scene where Shirakumo shelters a kitten with his Cloud Quirk. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is a prequel/spin-off that follows Koichi Haimawari and premiered in April 2025 before kicking off its second season on Jan.
