Vinicius Jr goal celebration triggers 10-minute delay after racism claim

Real Madrid's Champions League play-off in Lisbon descended into disorder after Vinicius Junior opened the scoring five minutes into the second half with a brilliant finish. Moments later Vinicius ran to the referee to report something he said had been said to him by Benfica's Gianluca Prestianni, and the official stopped play to begin the racism protocol. Television replays showed Vinicius reacting while he had his shirt over his mouth, and the match was halted while the player sat on the Real Madrid bench refusing to continue.
