Wait, that's Jonah Hill? 'Outcome' makeover makes him unrecognizable

At an Apple Studios press day on Feb. 3, Mashable shared a first look at Outcome, the dark comedy directed by and starring Jonah Hill alongside Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer. The film centers on an adored Hollywood star, Reef Hawk, whose reputation is threatened by a blackmailer with a mysterious video.

Images from the event and production stills highlighted a dramatic change in Hill's appearance. At the press day he wore thick glasses, short hair and an auburn beard, similar to recent looks in his past projects, while production photos show him in profile with a shaved head and gray beard, making him hard to recognize opposite Reeves.

Mashable’s reporter noted Hill plays a crisis lawyer hired by Reeves's character. Hill directs Outcome and is credited as a co-writer and co-star; he also has two films slated for 2026 that he directs and co-stars in and shares screenwriting credit on with Ezra Woods, including Cut Off, a dramedy with Kristen Wiig that does not yet have a release date.
