Where Talk Soup's six hosts are today
People reports Talk Soup premiered on Jan. 7, 1991, aired in its original format through 2002, and returned as The Soup in 2004. The six hosts went on to varied careers: Greg Kinnear hosted from 1991 to 1994 before moving to NBC's Later with Greg Kinnear and acting in films such as Blankman, Sabrina, You've Got Mail, Nurse Betty, Someone Like You, We Were Soldiers, Stuck on You, Robots and Little Miss Sunshine, plus TV roles on Friends, Modern Family, House of Cards and The Stand.
John Henson, the longest-running host from 1995 to 1999, transitioned from stand-up to hosting and later fronted The John Henson Project (2004), Watch This! (2006), co-hosted Wipeout (2008–2014), hosted iWitness (2017) and, most recently, Halloween Baking Championship, with acting appearances including Blink-182's "What's My Age Again?" music video, Charmed, My Name is Earl, Anger Management and Austin & Ally.
Hal Sparks hosted from 1999 to 2000 and went on to roles in Dude, Where's My Car? and Queer as Folk, voice work such as Tak & the Power of Juju and VH1 commentary; he continues to act, host and podcast. Aisha Tyler hosted from 2001 through the show's cancellation in 2002, then appeared on Friends as Dr.
