Where to find Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders
Chances are you’ve stumbled across Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders and ignored them, since they’re not very useful—unless you need four to complete the second stage of your second Expedition Project.
Cooling Coils spawn most often in Industrial areas, particularly inside red lockers, breachable crates, and tool boxes. The best place to search is the Dam Battlegrounds, especially the Hydroponic Dome Complex, Water Treatment Control, and the Power Generation Complex, where those container types are plentiful.
Spaceport also has useful Industrial zones. Look on the first and second floors of Rocket Assembly for many red lockers; Rocket Assembly sits just south of Container Storage and Vehicle Maintenance, which are likewise Industrial areas with good spawn potential.
Outside the Expedition Project, Cooling Coils are a rare recyclable material: break one down for six chemicals and two Steel Springs, or sell it for 1,000 coins.
