Nbc reports the 2030 Winter Olympics, officially branded French Alps 2030, will be held in the French Alps and take place across multiple areas in France, including Nice, Briançon, Haute-Savoie, and Savoie. "We will create 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Games rooted in France and in the French Alps, open to the world, open to the mountains, respecting our amazing territories, magnifying our sights, innovative and driven to push boundaries, explore new sensations and create new horizons," French Alps 2030 President Edgar Grospiron said in a February 3, 2026 statement.

The Games are currently scheduled to run from February 1, 2030 through February 17. NBCUniversal owns the U.S. media rights to the Olympic Games through 2036, and NBC, Peacock and other NBCUniversal platforms will host U.S. coverage, including the 2028, 2030, 2032, 2034 and 2036 Games.

The 2030 Winter Olympics will be the seventh time France has hosted the Olympics.
