Will Laneige’s new Katseye-approved lip tint be the next viral K-beauty product?
Laneige’s JuicePop Box Lip Tints debuted this month, backed by a choreographed campaign featuring Grammy-nominated girl group Katseye. The brand, best known for its cult-favorite Lip Sleeping Mask, is now aiming for viral fame in the lip-tint category.
Each of the eight shades bears a musical name — from Pop-Star Peach to DJ Plum to Lo-Fi Mauve — and is designed to “flatter every lip tone.” The product promises up to 12 hours of pigment while hydrating and nourishing lips with peptides and ceramides.
New York Post Commerce Reporter Victoria Giardina tried the tint and wrote: “It feels like a lip treatment — hydrating and cushiony — yet looks like juicy, glossy color that makes your face look instantly more alive.” Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask has been popular with celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Drew Barrymore and Kate Hudson, who once called it “the best product right now.”
