Will Trent Season 4 Episode 6 Review: Romances Are Doomed
Picking up where last week left off, Faith stays undercover with Malcolm as Angie and Ormewood investigate a robbery that turns out to involve stolen documents exposing Biocentia Pharmaceuticals. Faith uses a necklace camera to feed the team images that identify Winston Terry and Clinton Starling as Malcolm’s associates, and the case deepens when Seth helps Angie learn the company hid evidence that its drug Evalia caused liver failure in some patients.
The situation becomes personal: Malcolm reveals his son Quentin died after using Evalia, and his crew had been blackmailing the company with the stolen files. A raid on Malcolm’s house leads to arrests, including Faith’s, to protect her cover. Winston later unravels Faith’s identity, takes her captive, and is killed by Malcolm when he moves to save her.
Malcolm confronts Neville Gordon with a photo of Quentin, and when Faith interrupts his planned revenge she gives him a tragic goodbye before both men are arrested.
