WWE 2K26 dev explains how Ringside Pass differs from Fortnite's Battle Pass
WWE 2K26 replaces paid DLC packs with the Ringside Pass, a season-based system. Each of the six passes will cost $9.99, the same price as previous DLC packs, and there is also a free track offering rewards without purchase. In season 1 the free track includes the legends and bonus content that had previously been unlocked with the Supercharger add-on.
Between the free and paid tracks, 120 rewards will be up for grabs in each pass, with season 1 consisting of 40 free and 40 premium tiers; each tier can contain multiple rewards. Visual Concepts designer Cornell Gunter says the pass will not include attribute boosts or pay-to-win elements and is focused on content such as Personas and DLC superstars.
He also noted that virtual currency earned from a pass cannot be carried over to purchase the next season, but seasons are not timed and content remains available to finish later. The team hopes to expand the pass to deliver rewards across all game modes in future entries.
