Pcgamer finds the XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser is a nomadic, mid-range gaming projector that trades raw brightness and high-end specs for portability and flexible modes; it handles four-point keystone correction even in gaming mode but must be used in the dark for best results. The reviewer notes key specs of 1920×1080 resolution, 550 ISO lumens, a 2.5-hour battery (audio-only mode can push that to just under six hours), 2×6W Harman/Kardon speakers, and inputs including HDMI 2.0, USB‑C with PD3.0 and USB‑A.

The unit weighs 1.32 kg, is priced at $799 / £679, and offers features such as intelligent screen alignment, swivel-friendly ceiling projection, auto power on, manual keystone and digital zoom. An Outdoor Collection option adds a PowerBase stand that extends battery life to around five hours and includes a projector screen and carry case for about $100 extra; the ambient light effects and music-synced lighting are noted as fun but battery-draining.

The reviewer also criticises Google TV’s persistent homescreen ads and says the built-in speakers lack depth. In gaming the MoGo 4 Laser measured about 20 ms latency in game mode, which the review says is acceptable for RPGs and slower-paced titles but may not satisfy pro-level players, and daylight use is limited by its brightness.
