Goal reports Yorke told PokerScout that Jesse Lingard could see a move to Wrexham as "one last rodeo" as he weighs his next steps.

Yorke said he has kept an eye on Lingard because of the United connection and admitted, "I really don't know what his priority is right now," while noting Lingard still wants to play and "at the Championship level, there's no question he'd be an asset." He suggested Lingard might return to England, continue enjoying life abroad, or seek a pay deal in a league like Saudi Arabia, where "a top-seven team there would certainly take a punt on him," and added Lingard has name recognition and has "done reasonably well in South Korea."

On Wrexham, Yorke said a move there "wouldn't be a surprise," speculating Lingard may want to be closer to his daughter and help the club push for Premier League promotion. He pointed to his own experience joining a struggling Championship side and achieving promotion as an example, called Wrexham "a very ambitious team with wealthy backers, making good progress and currently sitting mid-table in the Championship," and encouraged Lingard to consider the opportunity while noting the player's priorities remain unclear.
