Zayn Malik called 'jealous' after joking about Harry Styles' ticket prices

A music industry source told Page Six that Zayn Malik was “jealous” after he appeared to comment on Harry Styles’ high concert ticket prices while performing in Las Vegas on Wednesday at Dolby Live at Park MGM. “[He] is jealous,” the insider told Page Six, adding that Malik “originally… tried to charge expensive prices for his tickets and couldn’t, so he had to lower them, and as of last night [they were] as cheap as $20 to get in.” The source also said the “demand” for Malik’s concert tickets was “just not there” and called it “unfair for him to take a cheap shot at Harry, when he’s doing the same as every other artist.” Reps for Malik, 33, and Styles, 31, were not immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Malik and Styles were once bandmates in One Direction, which formed in 2010 on the UK’s The X Factor and officially broke up in 2016, one year after Malik exited the group. Over the years the pair have sparked feud rumors, including jibes during a 2017 Celebrity Family Feud sketch and a 2019 Saturday Night Live monologue in which Styles pretended to forget Malik’s name.

During his Las Vegas show, Malik — who performs songs including “Pillowtalk” — appeared to poke fun at Styles’ prices in a now-viral clip. “I just want to say a big, big thank you to each and every single one of you for being here with me tonight,” he told the audience, adding with a smirk, “You could have been anywhere, but you decided to spend your night with me.
