Zazie Beetz stars in red-band trailer for hotel-set horror They Will Kill You

Collider reports Warner Bros. released the blood-soaked red-band trailer for They Will Kill You, an action-horror comedy starring Zazie Beetz set inside an ultra-exclusive New York City hotel.

Beetz plays a housekeeper at the Virgil who initially sees the job as a dream gig before discovering the hotel is the headquarters of a satanic cult and that she has been chosen as the next monthly sacrifice. The trailer wastes no time showing brutal set pieces — wardrobes as death traps, hallways turned into war zones, flaming axes, people shot across rooms and long-take fights — and it has been compared to a Ready or Not–style thriller relocated to a city hotel.

The supporting cast includes Myha’la, who is knocked out by Beetz in one of the trailer’s moments of levity, Tom Felton as a search-party leader, and Patricia Arquette as the polished hotel boss who later commands the hunt. The film is directed by Kirill Sokolov, the fight coordinator is listed as Russ McCarroll according to IMDb, and it is the first project from Skydance’s new horror label Nocturna with Andy and Bárbara Muschietti among the producers.

They Will Kill You is set to release in theaters on March 27.
