Zootopia 2, Anaconda and Greenland 2 arrive on streaming and VOD this weekend
Polygon reports (Jan. 30, 2026) that several new films are available to stream or rent this weekend, led by Zootopia 2 and VOD releases such as Tom Gormican’s Anaconda and Greenland 2: Migration. Zootopia 2 — which smashed box office records when it opened over Thanksgiving weekend — is now streaming.
The sequel follows Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) as they chase Gary De’Snake (Ke Huy Quan), who steals a historic book at Zootopia’s centennial; the case pits them against powerful interests trying to keep the city’s past buried. From Polygon’s review: the film blends political messaging about discrimination with rapid-fire jokes and chase scenes.
Anaconda, a meta remake directed by Tom Gormican, is available to rent and finds a group of friends pursuing their childhood dream of remaking the 1997 cult film — then encountering a real giant snake in the Amazon. The VOD slate also includes Mike P. Nelson’s Silent Night, Deadly Night remake, about a serial killer who dresses as Santa and unleashes violence at a Nazi-themed Christmas party.
Greenland 2: Migration, directed by Ric Roman Waugh, is out to rent as well. Gerard Butler’s Garrity family must leave their Greenland bunker five years after a comet strike and face radiation storms, fireballs, rickety bridges and hostile survivors as they search for clean air and water.
