Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed the Avengers: The Kang Dynasty release date at Marvel's 2022 San Diego Comic-Con panel: expect the next Avengers movie on May 5, 2025 The idea for this video was: In Marvel Comics, Professor X and Magneto's consciousnesses were combined to create Onslaught, a sentient psionic being that represented the sum of the two strong mutants' innermost thoughts. In an evil effort to unite humans and mutants, Onslaught waged a number of psychological assaults against the X-Men before finally facing up against the combined forces of the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and Doctor Doom. The Avengers were kept safe on Counter-Earth, although Onslaught's eventual defeat resulted in the apparent deaths of several of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and Doctor Doom.
