How HIMARS Helped Ukraine Liberate Kherson

The HIMARS have reportedly played an extremely important role in Ukraine’s war effort in Kherson. High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) were used to destroy large Russia-controlled bridges in the Kherson region, as per reports. HIMARS attacks on critical infrastructure cut Russia's forces off from vital supplies, leading to the retreat of its troops. The 20 HIMARS sent to Ukraine helped level the playing field despite the numerical strength of Russian artillery. Following its success, the US announced more rockets as part of its latest military aid to Ukraine.
