Soya Matar Pulao Recipe
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Basmati Rice (washed &Soaked in water for 10 min.)
1/2 cup Soya chunks -
1/4 cup Peas
1/2 tsp Cumin
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1 Onion -(sliced)
2 tbsp Oil
11/2 cup Water -
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Boil water (2cups)add salt1/2 (t.spoon.) and soya chunks.Cook it for 5 min.Then squeeze them and wash in water 2-3 times, squeeze.Keep it aside.
Step 2
Heat oil in a cooker,add cumin and onion.Cook it for 6-7 min.Add all the spices,soya,peas and rice.Fry them for 2 min.Add water and close the lid.Cook it,switch off the gas after first whistle.Let the steam releases on its own.
Step 3
Your aromatic soya matar pulao is ready to serve.Serve.it with raita and salad.
