Moral story For kids, The Ant and the Grasshopper
The Ant and the Grasshopper,
Once upon a time, in a beautiful meadow, there lived an ant and a grasshopper.
The ant was a diligent and hardworking creature, always busy collecting food and preparing for the winter.
On the other hand, the grasshopper loved to sing, dance, and play all day long.
One sunny day, as the ant was busy gathering food, the grasshopper approached him and said,
"Why do you work so hard, dear ant? Come and enjoy the sunshine with me. Life is too short to spend it all working."
The ant paused for a moment and replied, "I understand your desire to have fun, grasshopper,
but I believe in being prepared for the future. Winter will arrive soon,
and I must store enough food to survive. If I don't work hard now, I will suffer later."
The grasshopper shrugged his shoulders and continued dancing and singing without a care in the world.
He believed that everything would work out fine.
Eventually, the long-awaited winter arrived. The meadow was covered in a thick blanket of snow, and the food became scarce.
The grasshopper, who had not prepared for the cold season, was hungry and shivering.
Desperate, the grasshopper went to the ant's home and knocked on the door. The ant, who had wisely stored enough food,
opened the door and saw the grasshopper in distress.
"Please, ant," the grasshopper pleaded, "I didn't prepare for winter, and now I have no food or shelter. Can you help me?"
The ant, showing kindness and understanding, welcomed the grasshopper inside.
He shared his food and offered him a warm place to stay until the winter was over.
As the days passed, the grasshopper realized the importance of hard work and preparation.
He felt grateful for the ant's generosity and learned his lesson.
When spring arrived, the grasshopper bid farewell to the ant, vowing to be more responsible in the future.
From that day forward, he worked diligently during the warm months, gathering food and storing it for the next winter.
The moral of the story is that hard work, preparation, and responsibility are essential for a successful and secure future.
It's important to balance work and play, understanding that life requires effort and foresight.
