Darood Ibrahimi The phrase "Darood Ibrahim" (also known as Durood Ibrahim) is an Arabic phrase commonly used in the tradition. It is a form of salutation and supplication upon the Prophet Muhammad. The full phrase is: اللهم صل على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم، إنك حميد مجيد Transliteration: Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammadin kama sallaita 'ala Ibrahim wa 'ala ali Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid.
