قائِن کی نسل // سیت اور انوس
اور قائِن اپنی بِیوی کے پاس گیا اور وہ حامِلہ ہُوئی اور اُس کے حنُو ک پَیدا ہُؤا اور اُس نے ایک شہربسایا اور اُس کا نام اپنے بیٹے کے نام پر حنُوک رکھّا۔
And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. اور حنُوک سے عیراد پَیدا ہُؤا اور عیراد سے محو یاایل پَیدا ہُؤا اور محویاا یل سے متوسا ایل پَیدا ہُؤا اور متوسا ایل سے لمک پَیدا ہُؤا۔
And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech. اور لمک دو عَورتیں بیاہ لایا ۔ ایک کا نام عدّہ اور دُوسری کا نام ضِلّہ تھا۔
And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. اور عدّہ کے یابل پَیدا ہُؤا ۔ وہ اُن کا باپ تھا جو خَیموں میں رہتے اور جانور پالتے ہیں۔
And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. اور اُس کے بھائی کا نام یوبل تھا ۔ وہ بِین اور بانسلی بجانے والوں کا باپ تھا۔
And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ. اور ضِلّہ کے بھی توبلقائِن پَیدا ہُؤا جو پِیتل اور لوہے کے سب تیز ہتھیاروں کا بنانے والا تھا اور نعمہ توبلقائِن کی بہن تھی۔
And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah. اور لمک نے اپنی بِیویوں سے کہا کہ اَے عدّہ اور ضِلّہ میری بات سُنو اَے لمک کی بِیویو میرے سخن پر کان لگاؤ۔ مَیں نے ایک مَرد کو جِس نے مُجھے زخمی کِیا مارڈالا اور ایک جوان کو جِس نے میرے چوٹ لگائی قتل کر ڈالا۔
And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt. اگر قائِن کا بدلہ سات گُنا لِیا جائے گا تو لمک کا ستّر اور سات گُنا۔
If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold. اور آدم پِھر اپنی بِیوی کے پاس گیا اور اُس کے ایک اَور بیٹا ہُؤا اور اُس کا نام سیت رکھّا اور وہ کہنے لگی کہ خُدا نے ہابل کے عِوض جِس کو قائِن نے قتل کِیا مُجھے دُوسرا فرزند دِیا۔
And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
