Restless leg syndrome, also known as Willis-Ekbom disease, is a neurological disorder characterized by an irresistible urge to move one's legs, often accompanied by uncomfortable sensations such as tingling, creeping, or pulling. These sensations are typically worse at rest and can interfere with sleep, leading to fatigue and irritability. Restless leg syndrome can also cause difficulty falling asleep, leading to insomnia and other sleep problems.
