Senate has approved the Army Act amendment 2023 Bill

Defamation of the army will be punishable by 2 years imprisonment and a fine, the Army Act amendment bill has been approved in the Senate. Unauthorized disclosure of information obtained in the interest of national security in an official capacity will be punishable up to 5 years.
