The Secret of the Magical Donkey

One day, in the Royal court of Akbar, a courtier rushes to Akbar and informs him about a theft in his house. All his valuables have been stolen. Akbar expresses surprise, mentioning that the courtier lives in a safe locality. He suspects one of the courtiers to be the culprit. He asks Birbal his wise advisor. "Find the thief immediately." He assures Akbar that he will find the thief. He leaves the court and returns with a magical donkey. Birbal instructs all the courtiers to lift the donkey's tail and say, "I am not the thief." They follow his instructions one by one. Birbal asks the courtiers to raise their hands. Everyone's hands are black, except for one courtier whose hands are clean.
