Photographed April 8, 2022 Ah, I know this is a routine visit to York but I was traveling a very different route and on Northern daily service. But fortunately, a lot happened today (Season 9, Episode 29) However, the long-distance service between York and Scarborough encountered some problems due to circuit failures, which resulted in the arrival of the New 3 from Scarborough being severely delayed. But with future plans for the Transpennine Express New 3 arriving in December, hopefully we'll see a longer journey to Manchester. LMS 46115 was commissioned this year in honor of the Scarborough Spa Express, which will only operate limited days this year. But the advantage is that there is steam all the way from Carnforth, with several stops for water and coal along the way. That's a huge difference and a vast improvement over the last few years run between Carnforth and York Diesel. The light rail deserves to stay (despite the speeding crash in Peterborough). Their Class 803 works hard, but is electric only and has no diesel facilities. Unfortunately not the 225 series, but will be repainted at the InterCity Swallow. However, some operate between London Kings Cross and Leeds.
