HELD (01) PERSON WHO PROCURING AND SELLING OF BANNED FOREIGN CIGARETTES - ALL WORTH OF RS. 1.10 LAKHS. The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Chandrayangutta Police have apprehended one person who found indulging in procuring and selling of prohibited Foreign Cigarettes which contains nicotine. All worth of Rs 1.10 Lakhs. DETAILS OF THE ACCUSED : Omer Bin Ilyas Zumbali, age.34 yrs, Occ: Business (Zumbali General Store ) R/o Barkas, Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad Azher, R/o Hafeez Baba Nagar, Hyderabad (Absconding) SEIZED OBJECTS :- 1. WIN cigarettes 211 Boxes 2. Paris Cigarettes 10 Boxes 3. Black Cigarettes 15 Boxes 4. Mond Cigarettes 08 Boxes 5. Garam Cigarettes 04 Boxes 6. Esse Light Cigarettes 04 Boxes All Worth of About Rs. 1,10,000/- BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE :- The accused person Omer Bin Ilyas Zumbali is the resident of Barkas, Chandrayanagutta, Hyderabad who is eking his livelihood by running Zumbali General Store at Barkas. As his earning are not sufficient to lead his family expenses. As such he hatched a plan to sell the banned Foreign Cigarettes illegally. Accordingly, he started to purchase the banned Foreign Cigarettes from one person by name Azher, R/o Hafeez Baba Nagar and storing the same in his house and Kirana Store for further selling. Later on, slowly he started to sell the banned Foreign Cigarettes along with other groceries to the needy customers with maximum profits illegally. On tip-off information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with Chandrayangutta Police have conducted raid at Zubali General Store and his house, apprehended the accused and seized banned Foreign Cigarettes. The apprehended accused person along with seized material was handed over to SHO, Chandrayanagutta Police for further investigation. The above accused was apprehended under the supervision of Sri. Y. Ajay Kumar, Inspector of Police, by SIs S/Sri N. Naveen, K. Narsimulu, G. Anjaneyulu & Staff of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad City along with Chandrayanagutta Police. ( AVR Narsimha Rao ) Addl.
