ARRESTED FOUR OFFENDERS WHO WERE IN POSSESSION OF COUNTERFEIT NOTES AND TRYING TO EXCHANGE THE SAID COUNTERFEIT NOTIES TO DECEIVE INNOCENT PEOPLE AND RECOVERED COUNTERFEIT NOTES OF RS.2,000/- DENOMINATION WORTH RS.69,04,000/- AND 04 MOBILE PHONES FROM THEIR POSSESSION. Cr.No.109/2023, U/S 420, 489-B, 489-D r/w 34 IPC of Kalapathar PS, Hyderabad The sleuths of Kalapathar Police Station of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate made sincere efforts and apprehended a gang of 04 members and seized when they were trying to exchange the Counterfeit Notes of Rs.2,000/- denomination total worth of Rs.69,04,000/- with innocent public with intention to deceive the innocent public for their wrongful gains at Mochi Colony in the limits of Kalpathar Police Station and arrested the following four accused. Traders, Madeena Market, Shop No.70, Charminar, Hyderabad, R/o. H.No.18-7-326/1/D, Aman Nagar Colony, Talabkatta, Bhavani Nagar, Hyderabad. A4 Md. Rayeesuddin S/o. Md. Shareefuddin, Age: 46 years, Occ: AC Technician, R/o. H.No.19-2-168/3/1, Jama Masjid, Tadban, A5 Mohammed Anwar S/o. Mohammed Afzal, Age: 36 years, Occ: Real Estate Business, R/o. H.No.19-2-426/5/A/B, near Kizra Hotel, Kalapathar. A6 Mohammed Muneer Ali @ Muneruddin @ Ghouse Pasha S/o. Late Mohammed Ahmed Ali, Age: 40 years, Occ: Flower Decoration, R/o. H.No.19-4-7/B/41, Aljubel Colony, Chandrayanagutta, Hyderabad. BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE and offence:– on 09.08.2023 at about 1300 hours on receipt of credible information that the above accused were trying to exchange the counterfeit notes with original currency notes to the common public with fraudulent intention to earn more money and Sri D. Srinivasulu, Sub-Inspector of Police along with staff of Kalapathar Police Station proceeded near Jama Masjid backside Tadban, Mochi Colony, Kalapathar and apprehended the above persons and brought them to Police Station along with polythene bag containing counterfeit notes i.e., 34 bundles (Rs.2000x100 pieces bundle) and one bundle (Rs.2000x52 pieces) printed as “Children Bank of India” total Rs.69,04,000/- and registered the above crime. On enquiry by the investigating officer, the accused Zahed Khan revealed that he along with his friend of Khaja Naveeduddin planned to earn more money easily and accordingly Khaja Naveeduddin sent the above counterfeit currency notes to Zahed Khan through one Shinde. The accused A3] Zahed Khan along with his associates above accused A4 to A6 received the polythene bag containing the above counterfeit notes at Tadban X Road at about 0700 hours on 09.08.2023 and later at about 1300 hours the accused A3 to A6 were trying to exchange the said counterfeit notes with common public with fraudulent intention to earn money and they were apprehended. Four Mobile Phones. The above case was detected by the Kalapathar Police under the direct supervision and leadership of Sri Sai Chaitanya, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, South Zone and under the guidance of Sri Shaik Jahangeer, Addl. DCP, South Zone and Sri A. Sudhakar, ACP, Falaknuma Division, detected by Sri P.
