"We're off to see Tom and Jerry, in an all-new movie!" Tom & Jerry and Dorothy are enjoying their well-deserved rest in Kansas after defeating the Wicked Witch of the West. Unfortunately, the peace is short-lived, as a new villain has emerged, the Gnome King. He and his army are poised to wreak havoc in Oz. They are just one step away from total control of The Emerald City, all they need is Dorothy's ruby slippers. Tom & Jerry travel back to Oz to stop Gnome King's evil plans. Will they be able to work together as a duo or will the rivalry get too big and they forget why they returned to Oz already?
