ARREST OF ACCUSED IN GANG RAPE CASE BY MEERPET POLICE* Rachakonda Police detected the gang rape case of a minor and arrested the accused in Cr.No. 1211/2023 u/s 452, 324, 376-DA, 506 IPC and Sec. 5(g)r/w 6 of POCSO Act. *Details of accused-* *A1) Abed-Bin-Khaled @ Abid, S/o Khalid-Bin-Badar, Age: 35 years, Occ: Mechanic, R/ H No: 14-1-211, Seetharam Pet, Mangalhat, Hyderabad City.* *A2) Tahseen- Absconding* *A3) Mankala Mahesh S/o Sreenu, Age: 20 years, Occ: Labour, Caste: SC-Madiga, R/o Block No: 105, Vambay Colony, Nandnavanam, Saroornagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.* *A4) M. Narsing @ Band Chinna, S/o Jagan, Age: 23 years, Occ: Band worker, Caste: SC-Madiga, R/o Block No: 42, Vambay Colony, Nandanavanam, Saroornagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.* *A5) Ashraf S/o Ibrahim, age: 20 yrs, Occ: Pvt. Imran S/o Haneef, age: 20 yrs, Occ: flower decoration worker, R/o R/o Rasoolpura, Old Malakpet, Hyderabad.* On 21.08.2023 registered a gang rape case on the statement of the victim. The victim girl is habitant of Shanthi Nagar, Lalapet, Hyderabad. One week ago her cousin sister of the victim girl brought her along with her two brothers to Nandanavanam to look after their well being. On 19.08.2023 one person by name Abed made unwelcome physical approaches and demands for which she rebuked him. On 21.08.2023 at about 1100 hours when the victim girl along with her two brothers were present in the said house, the accused Abed along with his friends Tahseen@ Tyson, Mahi, entered the residence of the victim girl. Abed dragged her in to a bedroom, by holding her hair and closed her mouth tightly and forcibly participated in intercourse with her, thereafter the other accused one after one by threatening her by showing a knife. Immediately, police swung into action, formed and deployed special teams to nab the accused persons. On 22.08.2023 at about 1600 hours on reliable information with help of inputs, the main accused Abed-Bin-Khaled @ Abid was apprehended at Santhosh Nagar by special teams while he was moving towards Nandanavanam and brought him to Police Station and brought him to P.S Meerpet. On interrogation the accused confessed his guilt in the commission of this offence, seized one knife from the possession & instance of the accused. PRO, Rachakonda.
