Protests against strict COVID restrictions continue, big worry for Xi regime
The protest over strict COVID-19 restrictions continued in parts of China. After Shanghai, Beijing residents demonstrated against forced lockdown on November 28. At least 1,000 people gathered at Beijing’s 3rd Ring Road and refused to disperse. Frustration over Jinping’s signature zero-COVID policy mounted in China. Earlier, police detained protesters in Shanghai for protesting against stringent COVID restrictions. Protesters took to the streets in Shanghai and sang National Anthem.
