Red pandas have shot to fame for their adorable looks, but there's a lot more to these elusive animals than their kitten-like faces

They are found in the high-altitude forests of Nepal, Q India, Bhutan, Myanmar and China and their diet is 98% bamboo and are not related to giant pandas. Primarily an herbivore, the hame panda is said to come from the Nepali word 'ponya,' which means bamboo or plant eating animal.
