Zelensky’s Missile Strikes Warning, Russia Shells Nikopol & Kherson, Kyiv Loses 70 Troops In Donetsk
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned his citizens to prepare for fresh missile attacks in the coming days. Ukraine’s General Staff has said that Russia is expected to strengthen its grouping of troops in the temporarily occupied and captured territories. Ukraine’s General Staff said Russia may redeploy individual units from Belarus after they acquire combat capabilities. Ukraine said that its missile and artillery units struck four Russian personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters. The energy crisis has renewed tensions between Ukraine’s president and Kyiv’s mayor amid a looming power crisis. Kyiv Mayor, Vitali Klitschko, defended himself against allegations levelled by Zelensky that too many Kyiv residents were still without power. Ukraine’s nuclear energy firm says it has received information that Russian forces may be leaving the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to use winter as a weapon against Ukraine. According to a media report, Russian An-124 transport aircraft visited China nine times over the past week.
