Marvel is OBSESSED with Ripping Off Spider-Man

Marvel seems to have an obsession with turning unique character ideas into Spider-Man spinoff characters. This is Dream Spider, one of the newest characters in the Spider-Man mythos. She first appeared in the Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man series with a powerset that sets her apart from the rest of the Spider-People in the main Marvel 616 Universe. She was already making her debut in a Spider-Man book, so why not just allow her to become her own unique character?
