Dzhankoy Town In Northern Crimea Is A Top Target For Zelensky’s Forces l Russia-Ukraine War
Russian forces are building up defences, both on the left bank of the Dnieper and in Dzhankoy, a rail and road hub in northern Crimea. Dzhankoy was a critical node in Russia’s supply network before September when Ukraine liberated much of southern Ukraine. As Kremlin reorganises its southern supply chain, Dzhankoy becomes important for it is at the centre of the new network. Most of Russia’s southern armies receive supplies through Dzhankoy, making it a top target of Ukraine’s long counterlogistics campaign.
