USA fans in Los Angeles cheered and chanted at the final whistle after their team beat Iran to progress past the group stage at the 2022 World Cup. Christian Pulisic scored the only goal of the game in the 38th minute, although the Chelsea forward was injured in the process. The USA join England in qualifying from Group B, and will face the Netherlands in the last 16 on Saturday.
