Asian Games 2023 ( Opening ceremony)

As the Chinese city of Hangzhou gears up to host the Asian Games, residents lauded the economic benefits of hosting the sporting event. China's President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of the Asian Games and meet with Foreign Leaders. The games will kick off on Saturday after being delayed a year by covid-19, and will feature 12,500 athletes from 45 nations. There will be 40 different sports, including athletics, swimming, cricket, dragon boat racing and esports which for the first time will be a medal-winning event.
